Naraka: Bladepoint Pro League, Yearly Competition Schedule Announced

Naraka: Bladepoint Pro League (NBPL) was announced today and information about the schedule for the competetive scene was given.

NBPL is a brand new league for Naraka: Bladepoint, every year will see 2 seasons and for 2022 the total prizepool will be 5.2 Million Chinese Yuan (~805k USD).
There will be 24 teams fighting for the prizepool, of which 20 were revealed today.

Yearly Tournament Schedule

Netease also announced how the competetive schedule will look like moving forwards.

Koi Cup

Koi Cup will be held twice a year, the trio grand finals for the first Koi Cup of the year will be held this week.

NBPL

NBPL will also be held twice a year - the first season will likely start shortly after the current Koi Cup concludes.

Naraka: Bladepoint World Championship (NBWC)

Held once a year, most likely on January or February. Players and Teams will likely qualify through placement in the other tournaments.

What about other regions?

It is unclear exactly what the tournament schedule for other regions will be right now, NetEase have however launched the weekly scrim practice cup for other regions this week and there have been talks about hosting tournaments similar to the ones we had before the world cup (Morus cup, Shadowjade cup, Celestra cup) - qualifiers for these tournaments are likely to be from the weekly scrim practice cups.
